I wouldn't worry too much about permanently turning into a morning person. I used to get my mom up super early but now that I'm a teenager we both happily sleep until 11 whenever we're able.

Amen sister- my beloved little boy's first school started at 8 am so he had to be on the bus by 7. It's better now but Mother's Day, he woke me up at 5.30 just reading aloud to himself in his bed. Dawn's early light is great in song but less amusing on Sunday morning.

Oh, you are so singing my song! Having kids is especially so torturous for us night owls. Seven years in my internal clock still hasn't reset itself to morning person time, in spite of the fact that every living being in this house except me wants to be up at the butt crack of dawn. I really can't wait until they're teenagers.
