Health-wise, teens are quite ready for babies. Depends how young you go though - 16 and up, their bodies are ready for it. Early pregnancies are healthier than later ones (although usually that means late teens to early twenties). I gave my sister the sex talk at 12. It was quite fun. Good luck with yours! When my daughter, in her damnable logic, said, "You didn't go to college and you have two kids", I said, "Yeah, and do you think your standard of living has been fabulous so far?" Somehow or other, I can turn any conversation around to GO TO COLLEGE. It's a gift. Well, health and that babies are expensive.
